What if I need to change my order?

We process orders quickly, but we’ll do our best to accommodate any changes to your order. The best way to change or cancel an order is to call us at 800.990.9390, 8 a.m.–4 p.m. CST daily.

What is the status of my order?

Check your email for updates. We will email you when we receive your order and when it ships. You can always email us at Support@ViridianOptics.com or call us at 800.990.9390 to check on the status as well.

Why was my credit card declined?

Upon clicking on the "Place Your Order" button at the last step of checkout, your order and credit card information will be processed. If your credit card is declined, a message will appear on the page with the reason why it was declined. If it is declined as a result of an AVS mismatch, please verify that the billing address information you are entering on the website is an exact match to the billing address information on file with your credit card issuing bank. If your card is declined as a result of the card code mismatch, please ensure that you are correctly entering the 3 or 4 digit code that appears on the front or back of your card (varies by card type). If your transaction is otherwise declined, please ensure that you have sufficient funds available in your account to complete the transaction, or contact your bank to inquire about any holds that may have been placed on your card.

Declined transactions may appear on your billing statement as pending transactions. Within 5 business days, your bank will remove these pending transactions from your account. Because the transactions were declined, they will never be posted or permanently charged to your account. Unfortunately, during that time that the bank is processing the pending transactions, those charges will be deducted from your account balance. These funds are not being held by viridianoptics.com and may have their pending status removed only by your bank.

How are Viridian Optics Coated?

All Viridian scope lenses are ground and fully multi-coated. Every surface of the lens is coated, providing some of the best optics available.

How do I mechanically center my scope?

  1. Turn the elevation adjustment dial all the way to the top. Do not force it.
  2. Now turn this same dial down, counting each click until you reach the bottom.
  3. Divide the number in half and click the scope back to that number. (So if you counted 100, click the scope back to 50.)
  4. Repeat these steps with the windage dial.

What is the difference between First Focal Plane (FFP) and Second Focal Plane (SFP) reticles?

Second Focal Plane and First Focal Plane indicate where the reticle is placed inside the scope’s optical system. Reticles in the First Focal Plane are ahead of the major optical system in the scope, meeting up with the image you’re viewing before everything is magnified. The image and reticle get larger and smaller together while maintaining the same scale to one another regardless of magnification. Reticles in the Second Focal Plane are mounted oppositely and meet up with the image you are viewing after it’s already been magnified. The image will grow and shrink with magnification but the reticle will not.

What should I use to clean my Viridian Optic?

  1. Remove any large debris before cleaning lenses.
  2. Used canned air or soft optical brush to remove dirt or dust from lenses.
  3. With a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol, start at the center of the lens and clean in a circular motion until the entire lens is clean.
  4. Finally, use a dry cotton swab to remove any remaining dust, dirt or debris.

Always use scope caps to prevent any major scratches and damage of lenses
